Before you begin
- Your domain is connected. See How to connect a domain to Business Email.
- You can sign in to the Business Email Panel.
- A strong password ready. Use at least 12 characters with letters, numbers and symbols, and do not reuse a password from another service.
Steps
- Sign in to the Business Email Panel.
- Open the domain you want to create the mailbox for.
- Open the mailbox or email accounts section and choose the option to add a new mailbox.
- Enter the name part of the address, for example
infoforinfo@yourdomain.com. - Set a strong password for the mailbox.
- Save the mailbox.
- Send a test message from another account to the new address and confirm that it arrives.
Labels may vary
Menu names can change between panel versions. Look for the mailbox or email accounts section for your domain.
Username for mail apps
Mail apps and webmail ask for a username and a password. Use the mailbox username shown in the panel for the new account. Do not guess a format.
Expected result
The mailbox appears in the panel, and the test message arrives in it.
If something goes wrong
- The address is already in use. Choose another name, such as
support, or use the existing mailbox. - The test message does not arrive. Check the domain setup and read Email not receiving.
- The password is not accepted. Choose a stronger password that meets the panel's rules.
