Register a domain

This guide explains how to search for a domain name, order it through the Client Area and confirm that it is active in your account.

Before you begin

A signed-in Client Area account.
A domain name you would like to use. Pick one you can remember and type easily.
Accurate contact details. The domain's contact information must be correct, because APNCloud and the domain registry use it to reach you.

Sign in to the Client Area and find the domain search option.
Type the name you want, without www and without https://.
Choose the extension, such as .com, if more than one is offered. Check that the name is available.
Select the domain and the registration period offered. Some extensions have different periods.
If privacy protection is offered for the domain, decide whether you want it.
Review the order and the total price. Then complete payment.
Open your services list and confirm the domain appears with an active status.

The domain appears in your services list as active, with its renewal date shown.

The domain is not available. Choose another name or extension. Do not pay for a name that is not available.
The order is paid but the domain does not show. Check your invoice status first. See Invoices and payments.
You entered wrong contact details. Contact support as soon as possible so the details can be corrected.
