Roundcube webmail
This guide explains how to open Roundcube, the web mail program for hosting email accounts, and how to sign in safely from a browser.
Before you begin
- A hosting email account. See Create and manage mailboxes.
- The mailbox's full email address and password.
- The webmail link for your hosting email, shown in the Email Accounts section of the Hosting and Reseller Panel.
Steps
- Open the webmail link from the Email Accounts section. Bookmark it for later.
- Enter the full email address and the mailbox password.
- Sign in and check that your inbox loads.
- Send a short test message to yourself to check that sending works.
- Sign out when you finish, especially on a shared computer.
Do not use a link from an unknown message
Open webmail only from the bookmark or from the panel. A message that asks you to sign in through a link may be a phishing attempt. See Phishing and scams.
Expected result
Your inbox opens in the browser, and you can read and send messages.
If something goes wrong
- Sign-in is rejected. Check the address and password. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you changed the password recently, use the new one.
- The page does not load. Check your connection, then try again later. If it still fails, read Cannot access webmail.
- Sent messages stay in the outbox. Check the mailbox storage limit and the outgoing settings in Email client settings.
