Choose hosting for your application
Choose a deployment model before uploading files. A framework name alone does not tell you which server it needs.
Match the application to the environment
| Application | Shared hosting | VPS |
|---|---|---|
| PHP or WordPress | Supported PHP, extensions and database required | Install and maintain the full stack |
| Laravel | Configurable public document root, Composer and required PHP extensions | Suitable for workers and custom services |
| Vue or React static build | Upload the production build | Serve build output with a web server |
| Node.js API, SSR, Nuxt or Next.js server | Only with a supported persistent runtime | Recommended when you control services and networking |
Steps
- Read your project’s runtime requirements and build scripts. Separate static output from server code.
- Check the features actually enabled for your APNCloud plan. SSH, Composer, queues, Node.js and custom document roots are not implied by a panel icon.
- Use a staging subdomain and a backup before replacing a live site.
Check the result
Confirm the runtime, build output, database, scheduled jobs, persistent processes and backup plan before ordering or moving a site.
